Publisher Georg Stilke (Berlin) – book publisher and owner of railway station bookstores. From 1882 he expanded press distribution in Berlin’s city railway stations, later in Hamburg and other cities, creating a large network of station bookstores. In 1900 his son Hermann Stilke took over the business, transforming it into an international publishing and press company.
