100 years of history

Edward Pawlowski (Tilžė) - in 1899 he founded a printing house, bookbinding workshop and bookstore. His publishing house became an important part of the national movement, opposing Germanization and printing the Prussian Lithuanian Voice. He published numerous postcards of Lithuanian towns, dedicating part of the profits to support Lithuania. In 1919 the business was taken over by other owners, but Pavlovskis remained among the most prominent publishers of that era.
